Pencil Lines sketch #231

I had so much fun yesterday evening playing with the beautiful Emma shoppe line from Crate paper. I love it !!!!! I used Pencil Lines sketch #231.

My titles are almost always in icelandic but I had to use these gorgeous chipboards as a title for this lo. I adore these pics of my DD taken in January.

Pencil Lines sketch #229

Slipe "N" slide was a total hit here last Summer. This is my first LO using pics of Sunneva and her friends sliding. I used a Pencil Lines sketch #229 as a base.

Title: ...and slide
Supplies: Basic grey, Bazzil, Little Yellow Bicycle, Queen&Co, American Crafts, Imaginisce, Tim Holtz, EK success and Studio Calico.

I used for the very first time a Huey's Color Mist from Studio Calico. You can you see it on the pink Basic grey paper (the background paper) and the sky stamp. I love it. I have been so afraid to try it out but I think I may be hooked.

No my diary list today...feeling to tired.

A fantastic day

This day was the best. I woke up with the girls and spent some quality time with them until noon. Then I had a crop date with my darling scrapgirls. It was so great to get out of the house for few hours. The girl who hosted the crop is also my neighbor so it only took me 3 minutes to walk to my house to breastfeed Silja. I had so much fun just scrapping and talking. One in the group wasn't able to come and we missed her but hopefully we'll be doing this again soon.

I did 2 one page lo's and 1 two pager.

This one I did using Pencil lines sketch #228. Great sketch for these pics of Sunneva in her Christmas Dress 2010.

Title: The Dress. Supplies: Bazzill (it's a white background, sorry for the bad scan), gorgeous christmas line from 3ndypapir.no (I love it !), American Crafts, Cricut, MME and EK success.

I love how the American crafts flower ribbon matches 100% with the roses on the dress.

I'm in love with all the lines from Echo Park. I think I have bought all lines from them except two. I can't wait to buy their latest one called Playground. It's so perfect for scrappers with kids. Anyhow this one I did using a pic of Silja when she is 6 weeks old. So cute. The title Cutie. Supplies: Coredinations ColorCore, Bazzill, Echo Park, Maya Road, Marvy Uchida and Jewel Tone Scrapbooking (the felt stickers).

I did not finish the 2-pager so I'll be uploading it later on.

In other news I can tell you that I fell of the wagon. Yes, I went on a little shopping spree and bought the Emma Shoppe line from Crate paper. I just HAD to have it and since I had fallen in the first place I HAD to buy few other supplies too. You can judge me ! What I'm thinking is that I can fall once of the wagon but only once. I know I'm hopeless.

Gorgeous colors

It's Friday again. ! The weeks just fly by one by one. Before I know it I'll be in the office again working...but that is not happening until late next winter so why am I talking about it :-)

Anyhow I bought this cute and adorable book called Moomin's Little book of Numbers for Silja the other day. I LOVE the Moomins. This book has the most beautiful color combos. So I'm putting it on my bucket list of scrapbooking. I'm going to create Lo's using these pages as color inspiration.

Talking about gorgeous colors. This is a lo I finished today. I love the colors in this LO.
I used some old and new supplies for this lo. Echo Park and MME paper and embellies, American Crafts, Martha Stewart, Prima and Queen & co.

Getting to know each other

As you can imagine I'm taking alot of pics of Sunneva and Silja together. This 2-pager has 4 pics of them together the first days after Silja was born or from Nov 3 (her birthday) to Nov 29. The journaling is about how Sunneva is adjusting to this big change in our lives.

I saw this Dear Lizzy paper used in this way in the latest issue of Scrapbook Trends mag on a LO created by Sarah de Guzmen and I thought it was brilliant it's such a cool paper.

My little shoebox

I'm in love with MLS products. They are so much fun and I just can't help but smile when I browse through their products.
These pics are from last Summer and Sunneva is enjoying the Summer rain. The title is taken from an icelandic song and translates to something like: I like the rain or I think the rain is good.
Supplies: MLS, Bazzill, Making memories and EK success.

It's snowing

We finally got some snow here and I love taking snow photos so I used the oppertunity and went out with the camera. I even took some pics of Silja "in" the snow but on this LO I used pics of Sunneva. Silja's first snow lo will be created later.
I used some Bo bunny papers I got from secret santa last christmas. I love this paperline. It's totally gorgeous. I used a sketch from Pencil Lines and the fan fold flowers I made after seeing this tutirol online. These flowers are so simple and really gorgeous !

A Summer LO

There are only 2 days of January left and I have done 12 LO's and 4 cards. I can't believe it since I did not have that much time this month to scrap. These 12 LO's have been created when I have 10-15 minutes to spare.

This 2-pager took me "forever" to finish. Why ? Well I haven't had that much time the last few days because of my little girl. She really needs here mom to hold her these days.

I have this huge pile of pictures of Sunneva that I need to scrap and I'm working myself through them. I took these cute pics of her last Summer. The journaling tells her to always remember to enjoy the little things in life. Like flowers.

Title: Enjoy
Supplies: Zva Creative, Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill, Collage Press, American Crafts, Martha Stewart, EK Success, Prima, Skrapp og gaman (the gorgeous pink flowers) and scrap.is (the leaves pin)

First is page 2 and then comes page 1.

Beautiful Doodlebug

I'm struggling with scrapping style. I feel stuck. I feel like all the LO's I create look the same and are not good enough. My problem is that I love so many differents styles. I love vintage, shabby chick, lo's filled with details, I love clean and classic etc but what is my style in all of this.

I have found out that I'm happier with my clean LO's. The one that have clean and straight line. I love details so what I'm aiming for is straight lines, clean look and details.

This is a LO I started yesterday and finished today. It's not straight and clean and guess what I'm not that happy with how it turned out.

What I love about this LO are these two Doodlebug papers I used for this LO (the red one and the one with the hearts).

These pics were taken last Summer. Sunneva got her first Inline skates and she loved them.

One of each

I have two more LO's to share. It takes my several days to finish one LO because Silja takes up all of my time and I love that but a girl needs some creative time, right !

Having two girls I tend to reach out for flowers as embellies. I need some ideas what to use other then flowers. If anybody is reading this blog and has some ideas for me please share. You could link up some ides for me.

Over the next few days I'm going to be focusing on creating several cards I need to do.

This is one of my fav pics of Silja. She is 5 weeks old there and so cute and looks like she so much older.

Title: 5 weeks - Beautiful - Photo
Supplies: Echo Park (I just love all of there paper lines), Fancy Pants (the felt, yes I'm digging into some of my old supplies it feels so good), Queen & co, Prima flowers (more old supplies) and Martha Stewart.

Here is a LO about how much my DD Sunneva loves to read. I found her in our bed in April 2010 reading a book and it just melt my heart.

Title: A total bookworm
Supplies: Bazzill, Sassafras, Prima (old supplies) Making memories (old brads), American Crafts and EK success.
