I don't have many pics of the three of us together. This one was taken (using timer) on New Years Eve 2007. Title: US 2007. The beautiful shaped paper is Bo bunny.

Creations and other stuff

I can't believe it September already ! I love Fall. I love the colors and the smell. This is a LO with some Spring pics on but the colors remind me more of Fall. I used my July Label Tulip kit for this one. The title is Very Limber.

There is a new DT over at HSS. Congrats to the new girls on the team. There is a week until our next DT upload. I have already done a 2-pager and LO for that upload. I don't know what my 3rd project is going to be this month. The thing is our computer had to go to the "doctor". It's still at the doctors and it has been there for more then a week now !!! Must be serious. Hopefully I'll get it back before the upload date arrives.

Cards; CPS #130 and Hero Arts

This is my take on CPS card #130. I don't know what it is but I don't seem to be able to create cards that I totally love. I have several card idols that create the most gorgeous cards. Their cards always look so detailed. Mine don't. I just have to keep on working on this skill and hope that one day I'll be creating cards that I really love. Anyhow this one is for my sister who is turning 46 today ! Happy birthday my sweet sister.
Supplies: Bazzill, Pink Paislee, Cuttlebug, Fiskars border punch, MM stickers, Tim Holtz distressing Ink, Maya Road chipboard and the flower is American Crafts I think.

This card I created for Friends who had us over for dinner last friday. I just got my new Wood grain Hero Arts stamp. I think I'm in love !

Supplies: Bazzill, Hero Arts, Hambly rub ons, BG ribbon and MM stickers.

New LO's and some stuff

I'm enjoying my Summer vaction. Today is my 4th day and it's the 4th day that it's raining ! You know what that means right...more time to scrap. Sunneva and I have been spending some time in our scraproom. I just love how much she is into scrapping.
I have done two challenges over at HSS the last two days.
This one is called: Duck Egg. I just bought these Sassafras lass papers today but the felt flowers are "old" and also the bigger yellow buttons. The title letters are also old. I just love to use up some of my older supplies.
These pics are from June. It's the first time we ate a duck egg. We loved them.

This one is called: The Smile. It's also for a challenge over at HSS. Papers are Autumn Leaves. Bazzill swiss dotted. Prima and American Crafts letters. Chipboards Maya Road.
This a pic from our vaction in Denmark 2007.

So in other news I'm really trying hard to start working out again. I really need to lose some weight. On my birthday DH gave me Nike+ so I can track really easily my workouts. This morning I went to the gym and spent 40 minutes burning calories. It's a start. I need to put some pressure on me so I'm going to record here what I'm doing. Just to keep track.
I'm waiting for my Cuttelbug to arrive and also my Hero Arts stamps. I can't wait to get more toys to play with.
Thanks for dropping in !

Shark Attack

Ellen over at HSS did The Language Art challenge in Summer school. The title is suppose to rhyme and there had to be some journaling on the lo.

These are pics from our trip to Legoland 2007. I used the tag to cover up a kid who was in the background.

Title: Shark Attack

Journaling: When I saw this "Shark" in Legoland my first thought was Jaws ! The three of you were all way to young to know who Jaws is !!! So you just went into the Sharks mouth with out thinking twice.

Summer School over at HSS

There are some fun summer school challenges going on over at HSS This my challenge that I put up this morning.

"Good morning class !

Today we are going to focus on health and exercise. We all know how important it is to try to stay healthy and in shape.
Did you know that the first “gym” filled with mechanical fitness contraptions was built by Swedish physician Gustav Zander in the late 19th century. Zander’s mechanical horse was an early version of the Stairmaster, a contraption for cardiovascular fitness designed to imitate a “natural” activity. His stomach-punching apparatus evokes contemporary “ab-crunching” machines. What makes Zander so important, for anyone trying to trace the Cybex family tree, is what happened when his machines, created in a European cultural context, immigrated to the US in the early twentieth century. They are prototypes of the workout equipment now ubiquitous in American life.

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

So your homework today is: Create a 1-pager or a 2-pager about what you or someone in your family does to "stay in shape". It can be about your kids and their activities.
I want to see you interpret in your own way “SHAPE AND/OR REPETITION” with the theme in mind ofcourse. Have fun and play with this concept.
Other requirements are to use something that interprets movement in the title and you need to use 4 differents colors.
Have fun and don't be late for your next class !!!
Here is mine page.

Photobucket
Sunneva has been in ballett for more then 2 years now. Even though it's not though on her body now it will be if she wants to continue her ballett study. I have more then 4 different colors. I placed the title on wings because wings are used to fly...right so there is my movement. The title is 1,2,3,4,5 Position and the numers stand for all the repetition they have in ballett. "
Guess what I did ...I bought a cuttlebug ! Now I can't wait to have it and try it.

Ebay and Cuttlebug

We are having an awesome summer here in Iceland and I have only 5 more working days until my Summer vaction starts. I can't wait !!!
I went on a shopping spree this morning...yes I know not very wise of me to do that since the dollar is 128 ISK (was 70 one year ago) but I have been working hard and I need a treat. So what did I buy ? I bought 36 Copic markers on Ebay. The are so many scrapbookers/stampers talking about these markers and hopefully I'll be as happy with them as they all are. I can't wait to learn how to use them and play around more with my stamps.
I also bought 3 Hero Arts stamps. This Woodgrain stamp, Christmas branch stamp and this Christmas Owl. I love what I have seen scrappers do with these stamps. I'm totally in love with Hero Arts stamps.
I signed up for an online class at Get it scrapped ! it's about how to make beautiful hand made cards. I totally love this class. The theacher Tania Willis is fantastic and her handouts are so cool and detailed. I'll be showing some of my cards soon.
The Cuttlebug has been drawing my attention latley. I really love all the embossing that is possible to do with it. I'm trying to make up my mind should I buy it for myself. If someone reads this blog (not many I think :-)) and can share their stories about the Cuttlebug with me I would be very thankful. Do you like it or not ???
Have a great weekend

"The challenge is to document someone or something using what I call a "grid."Divide your layout up into equal sized sections, and treat each section as a mini-layout."

HSS is having a DT call ! you should check it out. Sharon is the best boss ever and she has a wonderful and personal service. If you want to design for a great boss then this is the call for you. Check it out here.

Today is DT upload day over at HSS.

This LO is not a DT project just a LO I did last week. I had so much fun creating this one. I tried to focus on the layering and using up my "old" supplies.

Not the best time since the dollar is really exspensive for us here in Iceland these months but what the heck you only live once right. So I got my kit yesterday and here is a LO I did late last night.
