Class #3 Scrapping Outback

I don't think it would be an understatment to say that I faced my hardest challenge ever since I started scrapping today. Challenge #3 in the Scrapping Outback contest was all about distressing techniques. The amazingly talented Nicole was the teacher this week. I learnt really cool tricks this week. Her challenge was to use all 3 chipboard distressing techniques taught in the class on a lo but we also had to use the same sketch and the the thing that I had trouble with we had to use paint on the background paper. Phewwww I have never used paint direct on a scrapping paper. This challenge made me step so far out side my comfort zone.
Honestly I love the LO's that are already uploaded in the gallery. THere are so freaking talented ladies in the contest. I just love it. If this was a limination contest I would be OUT !!! Outwit, outlast and what was the last one...outplayed ??? anyhow this is what I did...be gentle :-) I saw this LO topic at Sasha's place and I thought it would be perfect for my BOM (I have not done a LO for that one in a long time) so the topic is me after 5 years.
