A challenge

I was challenge by Elísabet on scrapbook.is (an icelandic chatboard) to create a lo with:
1) a pic of me
2) baby colors (pastel colors basically)
3) no flowers and no ribbons
4) no oval design

So I combined this months project over at Snapshot of my life 2009 to Elísabet's challenge. I really love Anna's blog and what she is doing so I want to try to do this project of hers. This first project was about recording my routine. Since I work outside the home I wanted to focus on my Home routine. What I do on the week days before and after work. I used a sketch from Snapshot of my life blog.


This is a LO I did the other day with last years Christmas card photo. I'm not sure I like it enough but it will have to work. Thanks to my dear friend Donna over at HSS who "stiched" the pics together for me.

A Ballerina

I just want to share a LO I did over the weekend. I have two more I need to scan and upload and few cards.

This is Becky Higgins sketch that was in CK a while ago. I was inspired by a scrapper called Gwen Lafleur and I scraplifted her focal photo framing.

These pics are from Sunneva's first ballet show. They are so pretty all in pink :-)

LO's

I stole some time from myself to create these LO's this weekend. I also did 3 cards that I need to take pics of and post. I really need to catch up on some "old" Christmas pics so I'm going to try to scrap them the next weeks.

This is a pic from 2007. Title Christmas Girl. I took similar pic last Christmas.

DT upload for HSS

This week was a DT upload over at HSS. I totally loved the supplies I worked with this time this amazing Collage press paper line is so freaking fantastic. You need to check it out.

I took these pics this Christmas. I always take pics of DD infront of the tree on Christmas morning.

Ali Edwards does this every year or at least the last few years. She picks a word for the year and the challenge is to life according to that word that year. My word for the year 2009 is Discipline. I’m going to discipline myself to eat more healty food and say no thanks to all the sweets. I’m going be more disciplined at my job and finances. Before I do something that will not work with my goals I will stop and think before I act.

This is a Birthday card for my dad. It‘s so big because I‘m going to ask all his grandchildren to write down words inside of it that come into mind when they think of their grandad.

Happy Birthday Dad

Today is my dad's 70th birthday. He and my mom are enjoying life in Crand Canari. Happy Birthday dad ! I hope you are having great time.

This is an artical about my dad that was in the news paper today. Ofcourse I just had to scrap it.

Few LO's and cards

I have been able to scrap few lo's and cards these last days. I have this goal to create 20-30 cards this month to have for all the birthdays to come.

I have few snow pics I really need to scrap and I still have few left I want to use on LO's.

The title is: Snowkissed. Supplies Bazzill bling and Dreem Street papers. Title letters, flowers and bling deco Prima. Glitter snowflake is MME and the smaller one are Queen & Co. The journaling box is Jenni Bowlin.

And here is another one title: Snow fun. Supplies Bazzill bling, Jenni Bowlin and Dream Strett papers. Chipboards are Maya Road and I used acrylic paint on them. Flwoers Prima. Snowflakes Queen & co. These pics are SO "old". They were taken in May 2006 ! I have been planning on scrapping them for well lets say few years now :-) Title: Chopper spade. Supplies. Bazzill and Scenic Route papers. This year I'm going to overcome my fear of cardmaking. Here are two card I did for my cardbox. Supplies: Bazzill and Crate paper. Stamp Studio Calico. Ribbon I can't remember.

This one I love it's so simple but cute. Supplies Bazzill and Scenic Route papers. Ribbon Basic gray and the owl stamp I think is Autumn Leaves (??) Border punch fiskars.

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR

This has been a strange year so far. My computer got "sick". We have a cat in the house but we can't keep it since I'm showing allergic reactions. This has broken my heart. Sunneva is so in love with him and actually I also in love with him. He is the sweetest little thing.

Anyhow I have done 2 LO's this year that I want to share. First is the Title page for my Album in a Year project. The text is from The Lord of the Rings and it says: ...the only thing you can control is the what you do with the time you are given. Gandalf the White says this in Two Towers and I just could not agree with this more. My plan is to do a 2-pager for each month.

This is a LO for my BOM album. My goals for the year 2009. I have written them down only for myself to see. Two things I'm going to focus on this year getting fitter. Losing the aweful weight I have been putting on the last 3 1/2 years. Second goal is a financial goal. I have written down an amount I want to have in the bank at the end of this year. We'll she how that one goes.
