Pencil Lines sketch #229

Slipe "N" slide was a total hit here last Summer. This is my first LO using pics of Sunneva and her friends sliding. I used a Pencil Lines sketch #229 as a base.

Title: ...and slide
Supplies: Basic grey, Bazzil, Little Yellow Bicycle, Queen&Co, American Crafts, Imaginisce, Tim Holtz, EK success and Studio Calico.

I used for the very first time a Huey's Color Mist from Studio Calico. You can you see it on the pink Basic grey paper (the background paper) and the sky stamp. I love it. I have been so afraid to try it out but I think I may be hooked.

No my diary list today...feeling to tired.

My little shoebox

I'm in love with MLS products. They are so much fun and I just can't help but smile when I browse through their products.
These pics are from last Summer and Sunneva is enjoying the Summer rain. The title is taken from an icelandic song and translates to something like: I like the rain or I think the rain is good.
Supplies: MLS, Bazzill, Making memories and EK success.

A Summer LO

There are only 2 days of January left and I have done 12 LO's and 4 cards. I can't believe it since I did not have that much time this month to scrap. These 12 LO's have been created when I have 10-15 minutes to spare.

This 2-pager took me "forever" to finish. Why ? Well I haven't had that much time the last few days because of my little girl. She really needs here mom to hold her these days.

I have this huge pile of pictures of Sunneva that I need to scrap and I'm working myself through them. I took these cute pics of her last Summer. The journaling tells her to always remember to enjoy the little things in life. Like flowers.

Title: Enjoy
Supplies: Zva Creative, Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill, Collage Press, American Crafts, Martha Stewart, EK Success, Prima, Skrapp og gaman (the gorgeous pink flowers) and scrap.is (the leaves pin)

First is page 2 and then comes page 1.

Beautiful Doodlebug

I'm struggling with scrapping style. I feel stuck. I feel like all the LO's I create look the same and are not good enough. My problem is that I love so many differents styles. I love vintage, shabby chick, lo's filled with details, I love clean and classic etc but what is my style in all of this.

I have found out that I'm happier with my clean LO's. The one that have clean and straight line. I love details so what I'm aiming for is straight lines, clean look and details.

This is a LO I started yesterday and finished today. It's not straight and clean and guess what I'm not that happy with how it turned out.

What I love about this LO are these two Doodlebug papers I used for this LO (the red one and the one with the hearts).

These pics were taken last Summer. Sunneva got her first Inline skates and she loved them.

Bright colors

This year I'm going to scrap alot more then I did 2010. I want to create one LO and one card per week. So far I have done 5 lo's and 2 cards so I'm totally on track.

This is a LO I did using BF sketch. I love creating 2-pagers. I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. These are pics from last summer. Sunneva had her own little garden and grew some veggies.

Supplies: Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket, Sassafras, Martha Stewart, EK success and American Crafts

I just love Susan Weinroth scrapping style and I just love her blog. I want to create a montly LO for Silja with journaling about how she is developing. This LO was inspired by Susan's style.
This is a LO about how Silja is at age one month.
Supplies: Bazzil, MME, Queen & co, Jenni Bowlin, EK Success, Making memories and American Crafts.

Two 2-pagers !

Yesterday it was raining hard and DD had a friend over to play with so I got pleanty of me time. After reading a book I felt the urge to spend some time in my very clean (yes I cleaned it well last week) scraproom.

I have alot of pics I want to scrap of Sunneva and I have not been the best scrapper in the world last months so you can imagine how happy I was when I had Two 2-pagers to show for after 3 hours of work.

Not only did I document 17 pics I also used alot of my old stash for these two lo's. I could not be happier :-)

Anyhow here are the lo's. First I have to say sorry for the bad scan of the first one. For some reason my scans always go wrong when I use white background paper.

The title is: Friends.
Supplies: Bazzill, Fancy Pants, MME, SEI, Tinkering Ink. Create paper, Prima, Jenni Bowlin, Maya Road, Tim Holtz, Queen & Co, Making memories and Elle's Studio. Everything on this lo's is "old" except the Jenni Bowlin flower "stickers" and Elle's Studio journaling spot.

This one here has the title: Gerpla's Christmas show. Some of the pics are not too good since Sunneva was so far away from us but it is important for me to document this so I have to use what I got.

Supplies: Bazzill, Basic grey, Prima, Doodlebug, Punch and Queen and co.

A Pink Paislee LO

We don't have many Scrap stores here in Iceland. There is this one online store called Scrap and fun and they are having a fun Summer game. Anna Sigga posts sketches that we can work with. I totally love working with sketches so this is perfect for me. Yesterday I really wanted to scrap. I had the time but I did not have the mojo until I saw this sketch. I followed the sketch 100% and this is the outcome.
Title: The Grass Garden (I know it sound funny in english)
Supplies: Pink Paislee papers and embellies, Bazzill, Martha Steward punch, Basic grey stamp, StazOn ink, Prima Letters and bling and a Doodlebug ric rac.

New mixed with old

I started this LO yesterday and finshed it today. I totally love MLS products and wanted to use a new paper from them I just bought. I mixed some new products with old. The felt embellies are from American crafts and I bought them "long" time ago. It feels good to use products that have been laying around from a long time. Other products are bazzill, making memories, Hambly and punches.

Anyhow I feel like I'm stuck with my LO's. In my mind the pretty much all look the same and lack all details and fun techniques.

Scrap World Cup challenge #2

I totally love Céline Navarro Scrap world Cup online class. Her challenges and techniques have really made me step outside of my comfort zone and try something new. I'm working on challenge #3 rigth and let me tell you it's so different from what I usually do. Let me give you a hint I have been playing with Cardboard paper, GESSO and glimmer spray this morning !!! Phewww I'm not sure how the outcoming is going to be but a least I'm trying something new.
Anyhow here is my take on challenge #2. The technique was fun making a faux stiching (around the circles).
The title is Noise.
Journaling: We moved into our House spring 2008. Your dad took down 3 really big trees in the Garden that Summer and you did not like the Noise he made while doing it.
Supplies: MME, Jenni Bowlin, American Crafts, Little yellow Bicycle and a ric rac.

Only five more days of work and then I'll start my Summer Vaction and only 9 days until we find out the sex of the baby :-) Can't wait !!!

Scrap World Cup Class with Céline Navarro

As I start feeling a little bit better (I'm still throwing up at week 18) I can feel the urge to scrap more. This Lo I did the other day. These pics are from last Summer. Sunneva just loved her Running bike that Summer (today she loves her bike much more). I'm trying to use up my old supplies and on this LO I used some really really old rub ons flowers and journaling box and mixed them up with some new supplies from My Little shoebox. The photo corners I got from my good friend Kathie.

I signed up for Céline Navarro Scrap World Cup online class. I really need to start to think outside the box and try new things otherwise my lo's will all look the same and I will get stuck in a rut forever !
Anyhow our first lesson was posted on friday. We got an amazing color combo (pink, blue and orange), a fun sketch and a fab technique to work with. I combined all three in this LO I call Disco Babes. The technique you can see on the blue tag. I stamped an image (a Studio Calico stamp) using embossing ink and clear embossing powder on a white bazzill. Then I inked the tag using blue Doodlebug ink and wiped the ink off the stamped embossed image. I love how this turned out and I will for sure be using this technique on other Lo's. I can't wait to try it out using floral and doodle stamps.
I used a lot a products on this LO ! Bazzill, Basic grey, Dream Streat papers, American Crafts, My little shoebox, Making memories, Prima, Queen & co eyelets, Doodlebug, Tim Holtz, Studio Calico, Pink Paislee, Martha Steward etc.
